Five telephone calls and an hour later, we still had no cab, so one of the valet employees, who was done with his shift, gave us a ride back to Harrah's. It was so windy that the river taxi was not a good option, so we took a cab to the Aquarius and spent a couple of hours at various casinos, ending up at the Colorado Belle. The lady at the desk said we could walk, if we were mountain goats, but she recommended a cab or the river taxi. On Friday, since we were having no luck at all in the Harrah,s casino, we inquired about transportation to the other casinos. We put towels on the bathroom floor and a pile of them on the wet spot next to the bed. The next day, the spot on the floor was still soaked, and the ENTIRE bathroom floor was sticky. We reported the problems and were assured that they would check and either fix the problem or get us into a different room. Later, I noticed a sticky area on the bathroom floor. She put a towel on it, which was absolutely soaked later in the morning. The next morning, my wife stepped out of bed and into a puddle of (we hope it was water) next to the bed. Once we got to the hotel, the room seemed to be okay, except for a strange odor. The problems started with an apparent inability to figure out how many buses were needed to get us to the hotel.
